Joanna Baird

About Joanna

Joanna was born and raised on a horse farm in West Virginia. She graduated with degrees in Psychology, Biology, and History then moved to Texas to work for M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center in preclinical research and epigenetic research.

In 2017, Joanna switched careers to join The Last Resort in the Equine Program to fulfill her passion with helping people find meaningful healthy relationships through working with horses. Over the years at TLR, Joanna has worked in many different capacities before becoming COO. She is currently completing her master’s degrees in Public Health Administration and Counseling.
